Karen O has just released a new track online called 'The Moon Song'! 'The Moon Song' is from the soundtrack to the forthcoming Spike Jonze film called 'Her' which will be released on December 18th. 'Her' is a science fiction/ romance film starring Joaquin Phoenix as a lonely man who falls for a new advanced computer operation system that is voiced by Scarlett Johansson.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs vocalist previously worked with Jonze on the soundtrack to the film 'Where The Wild Things Are'. Jonze's other film work includes 'Being John Malkovich' (one of my all time favourite movies!) and 'Adaptation' - as well as making classic music videos for artists such as Beastie Boys, Bjork, Daft Punk and Fatboy Slim.
